Undercover Parking
Guests with sedans, utes, SUV’s and 4wd’s can use our undercover car park during their stay free of charge.
Not permitted in carpark:
Due to risk of damage to other vehicles and the building, the following vehicles are not permitted in the motel carpark at any time:
- Large American Style pickups including but not limited to Ford Rangers, GMC, RAMs etc. These vehicle can easily park out the front of the motel on our grassed area.
Trucks and Rigs:
Thanks to our wide median, ample street parking is available for all trucks, box trucks, flat beds and rigs including B-Doubles.
Trailers:
If you are travelling with a trailer, contact our management prior to arrival to discuss parking options.
Guest Meals / Room Service
Breakfast:
We no longer offer breakfast due to guests generally choosing to head out for breakfast at either of the 2 local coffee shops offering delicious breakfast options from 5am each morning. The Coffee Club and Panache Coffee Shop are within a quick 2-minute walk from the Acacia Motel.
Dinner / Evening Meals:
Guests praise our delicious homemade meals. And, to ensure each meal is delicious we do not use frozen foods (with exception of fries).
We shop for fresh ingredients when guests elect meals with their stay. Please advise us of this at time of your reservation.
We do not have a set menu, and each evening, a delicious, quality meal is prepared. We use locally sourced vegetables and meat. Our room service meals score 10/10 on all review websites and we are certain you will love your room service meal at the Acacia Motel.
Worker Lunch Packs
- We offer exceptional healthy lunch packs for workers that are generous in size to get them through the day. If you are travelling to Chinchilla for work during your stay, discuss this prior to arrival so we can prepare for your arrival.
Worker Dinners
The Acacia motel has scored 10/10 by our guests for incredibly delicious meals. All our evening meals are made from fresh, locally sourced ingredients (excluding fries).
Each evening, we prepare a different dish to keep meal times interesting.
Some of our most popular meals include:
- Loaded nachos with seasoned beef mince, beans, fresh avocado, salsa and grilled cheese.
- Fresh Barramundi pan fried with fresh mash, winter vegetables and cheese sauce
- Roast Pork or Slow Cooked Corned Beef with sauce, fresh vegetables
- Marinated Butterfly chicken or lamb, with salad and sweet potato fries.
Unlike large worker camps, we don’t cook for the masses. We cook fresh and ensure every meal is delicious, nutritional and filling.
Social Games Room
The most talked about room in Western Queensland. Fully air conditioned and air filtered.
The Social games room is a hit for all workers, solo travellers, couples and families.
Featuring a kitchenette, with plates, bowls, cutlery, toaster, 2 x retro arcade games, golf putting practice mat, board games, dining table, magnetic scrabble, 65″ big screen streaming TV.
It also features a tea/coffee station with take away cups, milk, sugar and sweeteners, hot chocolate. Plus fill up your water bottles with refreshing clean water from our water cooler.
Access and usage to all features of this room are included with your room cost. All games are set to free play, tea and coffee as well as topping up water bottles is covered under your room cost.
This room is the place to unwind, relax and let your hair down.
New laws in Queensland expressly prohibit smoking within 5 metres of any building entry (ie. Motel room door).
As such, we have a large social open air courtyard area for smoking.
The courtyard is also a great place for work crews to eat meals or have a coldie after work. Featuring an outdoor bar style table, as well as a large outdoor dining table for up to 12 persons.
Many guests are non smokers and we ask all guests to respect the smoking policy in force and only use the courtyard to smoke.
Any guest found smoking in their room shall be charged a $500 cleaning fee for carpets, curtains and bed(s). Smoking in your room is cause for immediate removal without refund.
